Security Guading – 4 Days Training Course

The Level 2 Security Guarding course is an accredited qualification which has been developed to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA). It is based on the relevant SIA Specifications for Learning and Qualifications and provides the necessary skills and knowledge for those who wish to apply for an SIA licence and work as a Security Guard.

 

Ideal for anyone who wishes to work in the private security industry in the United Kingdom. With the Security Guarding licence individuals can work in all static premises, a few examples are: shopping malls, retail, construction sites, residential sites, schools, hospitals, banks etc.

However Security Guard licence holders cannot work in regulated entertainment venues or in premises that sell alcohol. For that you need to attend a Door Supervisor course.

FIRST AID CERTIFICATE – If you are taking Door Supervision or Security Officer training, you will need to show that you hold a current and valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate that meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. It is an SIA requirement that each learner is sufficiently qualified in First Aid or Emergency First Aid. This certificate must be valid for at least 12 months from the security course start date.

CCTV Operator – 3 Days Training Course

The Level 2 CCTV Operator course is an accredited qualification which has been developed to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA). It is based on the relevant SIA Specifications for Learning and Qualifications and provides the necessary skills and knowledge for those who wish to apply for an SIA licence and work as a CCTV Operator.

The SIA stipulate; for you to complete the Level 2 CCTV Operator course in just 3 days, you must complete some distance learning before you attend the first day of the course.

Door Supervisor – 6 Days Training Course

The Level 2 Door Supervisor course is an accredited qualification which has been developed to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA). It is based on the relevant SIA Specifications for Learning and Qualifications and provides the necessary skills and knowledge for those who wish to apply for an SIA licence and work as a Door Supervisor.

The SIA stipulate; for you to complete the Level 2 Door Supervision course in just 6 days, you must complete some distance learning before you attend the first day of the course.

 

First Aid Certificate – If you are taking Door Supervision or Security Officer training, you will need to show that you hold a current and valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate that meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. This is an essential qualification for:

1): existing SIA Door Supervisor licence holders applying to renew their licence after 1st October 2021.

2): anyone applying for an SIA licence after 1st October 2021 holding a pre-1st April 2021 Door Supervisor qualification.

The SIA stipulate; for you to complete the Level 2 Door Supervision course in just 6 days, you must complete some distance learning before you attend the first day of the course.

 

FIRST AID Course

Our First Aid courses are OFQUAL Regulated and accredited by the Awarding Organisation. Your first aid certificate will be valid for three years. To be fully complaint, the paediatric first aid courses are OFSTED approved and are also valid for three years.

Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)    

The 1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work meets The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. The individuals who work in low-risk places can take this training.  This 1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work training is at level 3. The training is also ideal for potential employees looking for their career prospects in construction and security industries. This training is suitable for staff who intend to develop and gain formal recognition of their knowledge, understanding, and skills of first aid at work.

First Aid at Work (FAW)

The Level 3 First Aid at Work course is delivered through a combination of two days of training and self-study (blended learning). The Level 3 First Aid At Work course is more advanced than the basic 1 day EFAW training. Designed to ensure that on successful completion of the course delegates are trained first aiders in the workplace in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

If an employer has identified that first-aiders are needed in their workplace, they must ensure that those identified to be first aiders undertake training appropriate to the need. This course provides comprehensive set of practical skills needed to become a confident first aider at work, giving you both the ability and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies.

This First at Work Course is designed as blended learning. That means you will be revising part of the course as online/eLearning and the rest of the course will be delivered in 2 days of classroom activity. During Level 3 First Aid at Work training, you will learn the key lifesaving skills and how to deal with non-threatening situations. This training further provides the necessary knowledge to recognise and manage illnesses and injuries. At the end learning you are required to complete a multiple-choice questions assessment.

Paediatric First Aid (PFA)

The Level 3 Paediatric First Aid course provides theoretical and practical training in First Aid techniques that are specific to infants aged 0 to 1, and children aged from 1 year old to the onset of puberty. Learners will become familiar with the role of the paediatric first aider and be able to assess and react appropriately to an emergency situation.

This course is for people working with or looking after young children and infants, including teachers, playgroup leaders, childcare providers, au pairs, nannies and child-minders, it is also the ideal course for delegates that are working towards an NVQ in Childcare and Education.

 

FIRST AID FOR INSTRUCTORS – 2 DAY TRAINING PACKAGE

The First Aid for Instructors training course package is delivered through a combination of two days of training and self-study (blended learning). The training package is for individuals wishing to deliver the First Aid Suite of qualifications. It includes the Level 3 First Aid at Work (RQF) and the Level 2 AED & CPR courses. This training package is only suitable for candidates who are working towards or already possess suitable teaching and assessing qualifications.

With the courses included in this package and suitable teaching/assessing qualifications delegates will be able to teach the Level 3 First Aid at Work, the Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work and the Level 2 Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation.

CSCS Green Card Labourer Training Course

Since the 1st of July 2014 to apply for the New CSCS Green Labourer Card candidates need to do the new Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment Course, as well as pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test to be able to apply for the card.

Get your Green CSCS card in three very simple steps:
STEP 1: Attend a short construction Health & Safety course. STEP 2: Take the CITB Health & Safety test.
STEP 3: Apply for the green card.

Upon booking the course you will receive a link to course resources via email. Resources including a PowerPoint presentation, a mock exam, a handbook, and a workbook. MANUAL HANDLING – 1/2 DAY TRAINING COURSE

The Level 2 Manual Handling course provides an effective means of ensuring that the learner is aware of their responsibilities and understand the principles of the safe moving and lifting of a load. Manual handling accidents account for more than one third of all accidents reported each year to the enforcing authorities.

The course is intended as an introduction to moving and handling activities for those starting work, returning to work or who need specific training in manual handling, as well as being a suitable qualification for refresher training. Aimed at all levels of employees who may undertake manual handling operations, including the transporting of a load of items by lifting, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying or moving thereof by hand or by bodily force.

 

Security Trainer Course

LEVEL 3 DELIVERING CONFLICT MANAGEMENT TRAINING COURSE

The Level 3 Delivering Conflict Management course is an accredited qualification which has been developed to meet the requirements of trainers who wish to deliver scenario-based conflict management training.

It is suitable for delivery across a wide range of sectors and is of particular benefit to those delivering training in a customer-facing role. It also meets the requirements of the Security Industry Authority for those delivering the licence to practice qualifications which include scenario-based conflict management training, for example, door supervisors and other frontline staff.

Level 3 Physical Intervention Training

LEVEL 3 DELIVERING PHYSICAL INTERVENTION TRAINING COURSE
The Level 3 Delivering Physical Intervention course is an accredited qualification which has been developed for those wishing to teach physical intervention skills to people working in the private security industry. Trainers wishing to deliver the popular SIA Door Supervision course need this qualification to deliver the PI unit of the Door Supervisor course.

Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People (RQF)

This qualification is intended for anyone working with children or young people. The qualification covers all of the elements of shorter “awareness” courses but also includes information on what to do with a disclosure and how to protect yourself from allegations.
This qualification is available to those over 18 years. Candidates should be at least a level 1 numeracy and literacy or equivalent
Learners may progress onto other courses related to child care or youth work.
